Learning About Meteorology and the Weather
Kaitlyn McGrath, a meteorologist for WUSA9 news, visited with our 2nd and 6th graders and taught them some very interesting facts! She explained how she learns about the weather, how she makes her forecasts, and how she prepares for her weather reports that air starting at noon during the week. She even brought along the new eco-hybrid reporting car, ECO9! Here is a video from her broadcast about her visit to Fairfax Villa.
