What Makes Fairfax Villa Special?

Fairfax Villa is truly a small school with a big heart. From the first day that kindergartners and their families come to the orientation to the years after they leave us and return for the annual Grad Walk, our students feel loved here!

High Academic Achievements

Fairfax Villa is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and equipping students for future achievements by enhancing access to advanced learning opportunities. We offer Local Full-time Advanced Academic Program (AAP) classes for students in grades 3-6, ensuring that our educators in grades K-6 implement AAP curriculum and strategies at least once each quarter for all students. Additionally, our Young Scholars engage in enriching before and after school programs, as well as educational field trips, to further broaden their learning experiences.

Proud Alumni

Former Fairfax Villa Dragons share this about our school:

Alum Marissa VonAncken, current Woodson HS student: “Being a Villa Dragon means being kind to others and supporting your fellow dragons! I was lucky to have teachers there for me when I had a family member pass away. It meant so much to have teachers who were there to listen and support me through a very difficult time.”

Small School with a BIG Heart

ID Students

Fairfax Villa is a small school with a BIG heart that embodies a spirit of generosity. This was clearly showcased when the Fairfax Villa Dragon Team took part in the 20th annual DSANV Buddy Walk® organized by the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia. Our school team successfully raised the highest amount of funds compared to any other school participating in this event, demonstrating our commitment to supporting not only our students and their families but also the broader community in our northern region.
